In mid March during Spring break, I took a much needed escape from the pressures of a full time MBA and half time job, and spent almost a week in New York. It was a fabulous trip! I went with my mother, and we stayed in the most wonderfully located and extremely affordable hotel right in the heart of the Theater District. In fact, literally next door to us was Hugh Jackman's new musical "The Boy from OZ," and the highlight of my mother's trip was seeing him come out of theater one night. (He is her favorite actor.)

While I was there I visited three boroughs, saw four plays (Aida, Wicked, Rent, and The Producers) and got to visit an old friend. The weather was even tolerable for March in New York. We got snow and drizzle one day, but one was just cloudy and two more were beautifully clear.

I took over 100 pictures (mainly of the architecture); here are a few of my favorites (in no particular order).
