One of my reasons for wanting to go to New York is that it is the setting for a story I'm writing. (Yes, I do try to get in a little writing amidst the crazy schedule.. one must have a hobby!) My current story is set in New York and a lot of action takes place in Bay Ridge, so I had to visit it (and I took a ton of pictures.)

This particular shot is a great exemplary view of the pretty, residential neighborhood with the brick houses and their fresh, bright white trim.
