According to the plaque, we have Angelina Crane to thank for one of the more disturbing statues to grace New York. I found this off to the side of the busy intersection of Queens Blvd. and Union Turnpike during my late afternoon Queens trip. It features a nude man with a sword or something over his shoulder, and a naked woman crawling around at his feet.. and a couple of these truly demonic looking fish that probably once had water coming out of their mouths. It also is in an extreme state of disrepair, not only dry, but with huge chunks missing from it in some places. Weird, but very interesting.
