My name is Andrea Castellow, and I am a consultant for IBM's Business Consulting Services. I received my MBA and B.S. in Computer Science from N.C. State University in Spring 2005.
Since then, I've been fortunate to work on many exciting business and technology issues at several large banks. I worked hard to get my consultant position with IBM, and so far it has been the perfect career. I have gotten to see so much and go so many places in such a short period of time. IBM is a great company filled with many brilliant people, and with lots of resources if you know where to look.
On a personal level, I am a lot of the stereotypes one associates with your classic "computer geek," but with a female twist.
I love science fiction and fantasy, role-playing, writing, and video games. I watch Japanese animation, speak Japanese pretty decently, and find their culture fascinating.
Where the stereotype break with me (aside from the girl thing), is that I'm certainly not an introvert. I'm very energetic and extroverted. I love meeting and talking to people.
