I chose the name "East Horizon" for my personal website, because it suited me on a variety of levels.
With the sun rising in the east, it seemed a good metaphor for the bright future I believe I'm looking towards, and the optimistic view I try to take on life. Additionally, my middle name is Dawn.
It also ties into my love of Japan, which is usually thought of as east.
