Management of Technology (BUS 590W)
Spring 2004
Taught by my favorite teacher, Dr. Lynda Aiman-Smith (or Dr. LAS as even I finally came to call her), after only a week I am very jazzed about this class. It really seems like the kind of information I came into the program to learn.
Also, while she seems to think the book (Managing Technology and Innovation for Competitive Advantage by V.K. Narayanan) is only suitable (the best she could find on a difficult subject),
I really like it. I'm reading a couple chapters ahead and can't wait to explore the material in class. This will definitely go on the bookshelf, not Half.com at the end of the semester.
Most of my classmates are also part-timers, meaning they're older and more experienced than myself. I'm looking forward to learning from them as most of them seem to be in the technical field!

Tie for favorite class in first semester, description coming soon. Taught by Professor Newmark, who as I discovered midway through the semester, is married to my middle school French teacher! (He didn't seem to hold against me what a rotten kid I was. ^_^)
